Andy On in Black Mask 2: City of Masks (2002)

Trivia

Black Mask 2: City of Masks

Edit
This movie is not a direct sequel to the first film. While the main character shares similar traits with the Jet Li character from the original film (Super Soldier fighting in the guise of a masked vigilante) the origins of the characters, their names and the permission surrounding their "crusades" are vastly different.
Having barely any martial arts experience at the time, Andy On was sent to a Shaolin Temple by action director Yuen Woo-Ping to learn stretching and wushu for a month prior to filming.
Rob Van Dam injured his knee while performing one of his own stunts.
'Raymond Wong Ho-Yin' and Louis Koo were considered to play Black Mask, before Hark Tsui settled on newcomer Andy On.
The movie was released in Hong Kong in early January 2003, and featured a dubbed Cantonese soundtrack with many HK celebrities in the main roles. Most notably, Andy Lau was featured as the narrator of the Hong Kong version and Jordan Chan voiced bad guy Lang. In an amusing turn, Cecilia Cheung provided the voice of Raymond, the little boy. Other roles were filled out by Louis Koo, Lau Ching-Wan, Cherrie Ying, Chapman To, Michael Tse, Patrick Tam and Raymond Wong Ho-Yin.
