The Land Before Time VII: The Stone of Cold Fire

Edit
Pterano has become extremely popular among fans, featuring prominently in fanworks and cited by many fans as their favourite character outside of the five main characters, or their favorite new character. Many fans claim that his voice-actor is what makes him such an appealing character, being one of the few new characters to be voiced by an actor other than a voice-actor. His voice-acting has even been compared to that of Tim Curry, due to their similar overacting and English accents.
The first Land Before Time sequel to be released on DVD consecutively with its VHS release.
This is one of the few Land Before Time films where the main group is not in danger of being eaten at any point during the movie. The only Sharpteeth that appear are flashbacks, and though the Sierra threatens to feed the gang to Sharpteeth at some point, no dinosaur is expressly interested in eating another dinosaur.
Michael York received a Video Premiere Award nomination for Best Animated Character Performance in 2001, for voicing Pterano.[1] The nomination was shared with supervising animator Zeon Davush.
This is the first film in which Petrie cries, although he may have cried in the original, however, his face is turned away from the camera in that movie. In this film, he cries four times. First film in which Spike cries. There are tears visible in his eyes during the scene where he draws in the dirt.
