Many magazines carried stories and interviews regarding Ayesha Jhulka's problem with Rita Dsouza ( wife of director Lawrence Dsouza). Rita had made allegations about Ayesha and Lawrence Dsouza. Ayesha also had a major showdown with Karishma Kapoor during the making of the film.
Mamta Kulkarni was offered the film in 1992. After her debut film flopped, she was replaced by Ayesha Jhulka.
Ayesha Jhulka wanted to leave the film due to problems with Karishma Kapoor. The films financier stepped in and told Ayesha that she had already shot for the film and could not leave. Then Karishma Kapoor left the film for undisclosed reasons. But she was back in film shortly there after.
The film was theatrically released in Canada.
The film had a theatrical release in Vancouver,British Columbia,Canada. The film premiered at the Regal Theatre, located on 3215 Kingsway Street.
