Patrick Warburton in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (2000)

Trivia

Buzz Lightyear of Star Command

Edit
It is rumored that Pixar CCO John Lasseter did not like this series, and used his influence at the studio to have it disowned, which is supposedly why it was never released on DVD or Disney+. Writer Aaron Sparrow included Booster in the Toy Story comic book, and later "got in a ton of trouble" because of Lasseter's dislike of the show. Producer Tad Stones said he never heard Lasseter himself say he didn't like it, but noticed that the studio never discussed it, and that character art from the Buzz Lightyear Disney World ride was altered to look different from the show's characters, presumably on Lasseter's orders. This is also believed to be why this show was not used as the basis for the movie Lightyear (2022).
Pixar's only television series until Mater's Tall Tales (2008), it is actually the only one before Walt Disney Pictures purchased/acquired Pixar in December 2006. It was the only full-length 22 minute Pixar TV show until Monsters at Work in 2021.
The robot ranger, XR, was voiced in some episodes by Larry Miller and in others by Neil Flynn.
Patrick Warburton takes over the role of Buzz Lightyear from Tim Allen. They both co-starred together in 'Joe Somebody.'

Tim Allen did voice Buzz in Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins (2000), the direct-to-video pilot movie. However, he was dubbing over lines already recorded by Warburton. Animation had been finished by the time Allen was cast, and as such his delivery was somewhat similar to Warburton's recordings, in order to match Buzz's animated movements.
A spinoff of the Toy Story films, Buzz Lightyear and Zurg from Toy Story (1995) and Toy Story 2 (1999) are featured in the cartoon.
