The Ramssay brothers usually shoot their films at night. Even lunch parts of films of their films are re scripted and made into dinner scenes. While editing Dak Bangla the Ramsay's realized a huge mistake they made. They shot the entire film at night with not a single shot of daylight !!!. They quickly shot a song and some day scenes to fix the look and feel of the film.
Swapna stated in most interviews that all she had do say thru out the film was "Mujhe darr lag raha hain".
Actress Aloka who played the character Vaishali in the movie later married actor Ranjeet who was the main villain in the movie
Actor wrestler Praveen Kumar who played the monster Ozho in the movie later achieved more popularity playing Bheem in the mythological tv series Mahabharat(1988)
This was actor Rajan Sippy's second movie with the Ramsay's after the much hyped 3D movie Saamri (1985).
