The song "Kuch To Karo " was sampled from the song "Body Talk" by imagination. Bappi Lahiri used the same song for "Come Closer" in Kasam Paida Karne Wale Ki.
The scary theme music ( piano) was inspired by the Halloween movie theme music.
It was reported in the media that Reem Kapadia fell in love with Rakesh Roshan during the making of the film. Reem would call Roshan every morning. Finally Pinky Roshan had to step in and tell Reem to back off.
Every time Mazhar Khan appears in the film the intro of Babla's instrumental "Yeh Sama Hain Pyar Ka" plays for a few seconds. It is just the small guitar portion of the song. Coincidently Mazhar had used this very instrumental song in the Indian adult porno movie he produced ,Bombay Fantasy(1983). The song appeared at the end of the movie. The movie starred K.N. Singh's son, Vibushan Singh Paul, who is now settled in Canada.
