The movie Khamosh -Khauff Ke Raat was a remake of "Identity"(2003). That film was inspired by the novel "And Then There Were None" by Agatha Christie. Manoj Kumar' s Gumnaam and Ramsay film Mahal were also based on the same subject. Sanjeev Kumar film Anokhi Raat and Zee Horror Show episode Aafat also had a similar story line.
