Trivia

Summerslam

Edit
Big John Studd was originally scheduled to team with Demolition against André the Giant and the Twin Towers. But Studd left the WWF on June 6th after walking out of a TV taping in Madison, Wisconsin, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan took his place in the match instead.
First WWF PPV to not feature Gorilla Monsoon at the broadcast booth.
Prior to the Brain Busters/Hart Foundation match at SummerSlam, The Brain Busters won the Tag Team Championship a month before from Demolition on Saturday Night's Main Event. The match was already signed between them and the Hart Foundation before they won the belts, so it was explained that they were not forced to defend the belts because there was no championship to defend when the match was signed.
This SummerSlam was known for one of the most famous wrestling bloopers ever: Gene Okerlund began to interview Ravishing Rick Rude and Bobby Heenan when the background sign fell down, causing Okerlund to yell "Fuck it!" In a shoot interview, Okerlund explained that the interviews were taped beforehand and somebody put the wrong tape in the machine
First WWF PPV appearance for "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes.
