Roo's character originally was like a toddler, was done by a puppet, and would most often be sitting on something like Eeyore or Tigger's back, Kanga's pouch, or his high chair; later his character was portrayed more like a preschooler and it was able to walk around in more scenes and was never in his mother's pouch.
The song, "The Right Side", was originally written for Mary Poppins (1964).
The first Live action Winnie the Pooh TV show in 1983 followed by a second live action film Christopher Robin in 2018.
Hal Smith is the only actor from the original Winnie the Pooh cast to reprise his role on this show.
80 episodes aired in France, from 1985 to 1988, with a new French host. The set is a playroom filled with plushes of Pooh and his friends, some toys and books. Veteran actor Jean Rochefort hosted the show from 1985 to 1987, then presenter Vincent Perrot in 1988.
