Final Fantasy X (2001)

FAQ

Final Fantasy X

Yes he does. He talks for the first time after Operation Mi'ihen but he doesn't say things in battle as the others do although after he starts to talk he will roar occasionally when performing an overdrive.

Well we honestly don't know really. James Arnold Taylor pronounced it "tee-dus" in an interview and it is pronounced as such by Wakka in Kingdom Hearts. Most people in Japan pronounce it that way.

However in Kingdom Hearts II, Selphie pronounces it "ty-dus" (as in tye-dus) and that is how most Western people pronounce it. So basically pronounce it whatever way sounds best.

In Japanese Tidus is pronounced tee-dus because of the way the phonic system works. Since this is a Japanese game, that is how his name is pronounced. Just like mako is pronounced mah-ko, and not may-ko.

The Dark Aeons are evil versions of the Aeons you get in the game including the secret ones. They are only in the International and PAL versions of the game.

After clearing Bevelle, Dark Ixion and Dark Shiva will appear and after you get the Airship the rest will appear. Most of them will block locations and you will have to get past them to proceed. Each of them has extremely high HP and insane stats. They are there to challenge the gamer and test the characters' stats.

Dark Valefor is in Besaid Village, Dark Ifrit is in the ruins of Home, Dark Ixion is in the Thunder Plains, Dark Shiva is at Macalania Temple, Dark Bahamut is in Zanarkand, Dark Anima is on Mt Gagazet, Dark Yojimbo is in the sunken cave and the Dark Sisters are in Mushroom Rock Road. Some require certain conditions to be filled before you fight them.
