Malena Alterio's debut. She was Nominated as Best New Actress (Mejor Actriz Revelación), but she lost by Paz Vega in Sex and Lucía (2001). Alterio gained national fame a couple years later with the series Aquí no hay quien viva (2003).

Jaime Pujol and Joaquín Climent worked together in El comisario (1999).

Filmmaker Eva Lesmes made a large contribution to the script, but she's uncredited.
