Rambha was signed to play a role in the film. But Romu Sippy dropped her due to her unprofessional behavior.
Akshaye Khanna plays a double role.
Arbaaz Khan was signed for the film but got into a fight with the director Raj .N.Sippy. Arbaaz thought the film would be a two hero film with equal footage. He was later told his role was a supporting one. He was replaced with Ravi Kissen.
Akshaye Khanna signed the film simply and only on the basis of his dad Vinod Khanna's friendship with Raj N.Sippy .
The music of the song " Diwana Do Dil Mile " is from Amitabh Bachchan's film " Satte Pe Satta". During the emotional scene's between Amitabh and Ranjeeta Kaur a background music is played. That music was later recreated into a full fledge song " Diwane Do Dil Mile "
