Viruta and Capulina's final film. El camino de los espantos (1967) was the final Viruta and Capulina film to be released, but it was filmed a year earlier than this film.
Marco Antonio Campos and Gaspar Henaine only made this film because they had signed a contract. They were already working separately at the time.
One of Viruta and Capulina's few color films, along with La odalisca No. 13 (1958), Cascabelito (1962), Barridos y regados (1963), and Buenos días, Acapulco (1964).
