Get a Clue (2002)

Trivia

Get a Clue

Edit
This is the last film that Lindsay Lohan stars in under her original Disney contract that required her to do three movies, the other two being The Parent Trap and Life-Size.
Though 'Get a Clue' was set in New York City, the school that the characters attend is filmed at the Bishop Strachan School in Toronto, Canada which is a real private school.
In 2005, Disney Channel had a special event naming the five best Disney Channel Original Movies which led to the premiere of their new movie, Go Figure. This film placed number two by viewers with Stuck in the Suburbs at 5, Gotta Kick it Up at 4, Halloweentown High at 3, and the Cheetah Girls at 1 as of summer of 2005.
At the beginning of the movie when Lexy and Jen are showing each other their outfit choices, the song playing was later used in Hannah Montana as being the song that Mikayla (Selena Gomez) sings.
A song by the band Prozzäk, "Get a Clue", appeared in the film and the music video and was shown on Disney Channel at the time of its release. The band's name was inspired by the drug Prozac. Their name was changed to Simon and Milo, named after the characters depicted in the music video, so there would be no association with the drug.
