The film Utopia Blues is a real pearl in the normally absolutely dull swiss film scene. Its about a boy who's biggest wish is to get Musician. The only problem is, that he doesn't care at all what all the people around him (Mother, Friends, Teachers) try to say him. He just wants to live his own, "weird" live. After a stay in a nuthouse he's inclined to start his career, even without support of his environment. His only friend in this difficult time was his grandfather who's in a retirement home. This film shows some very interesting aspects of being young in a "perfect world" without any "real" problems. The leading actor, Michael Finger, is showing an excellent performance. Also the Soundtrack is worth to be listened.
