This low budget movie is ahead of its time

The cinematography and editing was way ahead of its time. The child actors did a fairly decent job. I watched this as a kid and it left a lasting impression on me. I rewatched it in my 30s now and its still as effective. The final scene is tear inducing. Also, the title song used to be one of my favourites growing up. A must watch!

Best Children Movie Made in Hindi

I watched this movies first time some 20 years ago, ever since i am in love of this movie. An excellent cinematography showing the beautiful Mumbai life in full throttle. An excellent active by main characters specially the charm of the movie is the little girl Shasha. What a wonderful sotry line with a beautiful message in the end. A must watch for all. I watched this movie once again today with my seven years old daughter and could not control myself from posting the reviews for this movie on IMDb. A movies which is related to our childhood has such a sweet freshness that every time i watch this movie i fall in love with this movie again and again. Brilliant movie by Ace directory Mr. Santosh Sivam.

A must watch for all kids (even adults who still have a heart)

My favourite film as a child. The story is poignant. The end always makes me emotional. And I am a fan of that bald, bespectacled boy who keeps saying: " Dad,someone's look at us". His character is so hilarious.

HALO, an underrated but beautiful children movie.

i have seen this movie first when i was a child and it touched my heart, and i recently saw it again on t.v and i liked it more than i liked it before.

very beautiful movie with excellent cinematography.

very touching story revolves around world of a little innocent girl. ending of the movie gives a great finish to it,one of the most memorable ending scene i have ever scene.

this movie gives us a very different and pleasant feeling, take us to the world of innocence.

it is unfortunate that such good and creative movies remain unnoticed because of bad marketing.

this movie is suitable for all children from age of 8 to 80.

    Made me emotional

I first watched it when I was around 8 and it made me very sad to know the little girl lost her puppy. I wouldn't spoil it. But when I watched it as an adult, I was able to appreciate it more. It's like watching it from the eyes of a child. I love the style of directing , the dialogues, the silly and goofy song and camera angles. It all works in favor of it's story telling. Really , give it a watch. You wouldn't be disappointed. It will make your heart warm. It wilI make you nostalgic (if you are an Indian 90s kid). I still haven't fulfilled my dream of adopting a dog and naming it Halo, hopefully someday.
