Govinda and Sushmita Sen in Kyo Kii... Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta (2001)

Trivia

Kyo Kii... Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta

Edit
The film was inspired by Liar Liar (1997) starring Jim Carrey, while the poster was copied from Me, Myself & Irene (2000), another Jim Carrey comedy.
Govinda and Sushmita Sen were previously cast together in David Dhawan's 1999 film "Biwi No. 1". Govinda walked out of the film due to a disagreement with Sushmita and was replaced by Salman Khan. Dhawan got them to resolve their differences and they worked together in this film for the first time.
Mahavir Shah's voice was dubbed as he passed away a year before the film was released.
Ekta Kapoor made her debut as a producer.
This 2001 film, starring Govinda, was an unofficial remake of the Hollywood film "Liar Liar" (1997), starring Jim Carrey. "Liar Liar" itself bore similarities with an episode of the TV series "The Twilight Zone", called "The Whole Truth", which aired in 1961.
