The start of the Time Travelling story. <>Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2 - Raziel is sent back in time to learn more of Kain's role in his destiny. Introduction of Janos Audron. Raziel meets the Sarafan Warriors and his Human self. Kain rescues Raziel from the Soul Reaver, and alters history. <>Legacy of Kain: Defiance - Kain searches for Raziel, who is 500 years in the future. Raziel learns of his role as redeemer and destroyer, the Hylden Plot is revealed and the Elder God is revealed to Kain for the first time. <>Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2 - An Alternate timeline caused by the events of Defiance and beyond. The Hylden have returned and risen to power. Kain must reclaim his fledgling empire and stop the Hylden.
