After the success of their previous 2 films, Sunil Shetty and Akshay Kumar were chosen for this film. However, this time their deadly combo failed to recreate the magic. The film flopped badly at the box office.

This is the only movie that Akshay Kumar and veteran Pran Sikand both featured in. Although Suniel Shetty and Pran Sikand worked for the only time in this movie as well, they completed Ek Hindustani (2003) but never released.
Deepak Bahry's Hum Hai Bemisal and Raj N.Sippy's Kashmakash both films were shelved and both films had Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty. Then Hum Hai Bemisal was revived after the success of Mohra.
Anu Aggarwal signed the film then was replaced .Ayesha Jhulka was then signed for the film but opted out. This was due to her role being exactly the same in Jai Kishen. Shilpa Shirodkar replaced her .
