Originally announced as a GameCube exclusive and was originally intended to be a open-world sandbox game kinda like the Arkham games many years later. However as development progressed, the game went through numerous scale backs and by then it turned into a linear action-adventure game, by then it was announced that it would no longer be a GameCube exclusive title as both Xbox and PS2 versions were planned.
A PS2 version was also planned alongside GameCube and Xbox versions, but due to the game's negative reception and underperforming sales, the planned PS2 version later got cancelled.
