    They Ruined a Great Show

I saw several episodes of the new Card Sharks and I felt that Fremantle ruined one of the best gambling games on TV. It all started when they eliminated the survey questions, which I thought was one of the best parts of the game since it allowed the home audience to play along, a very important aspect of a successful game show. Instead, they went with Street Smarts, Candid Camera like elements and I felt that was a distraction to the main game.

It had it's hopes, but couldn't keep up with it's predecessors

I think this version of Card Sharks is just like the Match Game '98 where most of the stuff was not just revamped, but the Clip Chip strategy was just killing the show just like that. I wish they kept the show on longer if they kept the High-Low toss up question which I just feel was more exciting and interesting because the Clip Chip was just making the shows tempo go really fast and the contestants just weren't given enough chances. But I think what would be better from the show to go on a little bit more is if they brought Frank from Street Smarts and use him as a decoy for someone "caught by surprise" and ask them a simple gesture then the show would be much more interesting. The lighter side of this is they dedicated a full week of Card Sharks to America's Heroes how charities are helping those whose lives were lost on Sept. 11th. If I were a TV critic and rated this version of Card Sharks '01 I would give it a 6 out of 10 stars. It's interesting, but the clip chips just threw the series away. You can do better next time Pearson TV/Tribune Entertainment!

    This Version is Dog Crap.

What's wrong with you people, this version of card sharks is even worse than to tell the truth and family feud, Bad host, Bad Card Dealer, and bad announcer, the only things more interesting in this version are the cards and sound effects, and the bright spot is the police and firefighters give all the winning to the new york police and fire widows and childrens benefit fund, but otherwise this is garbage

    Card Sharks Rating No Stars.
