Ramifications and complications are rife in Yellowstone’s The Apocalypse Of Change episode. So far: more questions than answers.
Spoilers Lie Ahead.
“This is suffer and survive. You will hate it here”
Reports from the US suggest that the ratings for last week’s return of Yellowstone – which I talked about here – drew in record ratings. All for a chapter of the story without its leading man. The novelty factor clearly kicks in of course, with many of us just wondering what Kevin Costner-less Yellowstone looks like. Now, the onus switches to how the story’s going to close out with the other five episodes of season 5.
The Apocalypse Of Change isn’t the most subtle of episode titles, not least because it’s more about talking about changes rather than making them. On the surface its opening looks quieter. Well, apart from an encounter with a rattlesnake to...

The Rock is cooking and it’s not just a steak this time. With the folds of the Marvel Cinematic Universe expanding at rapid speed, it could be possible that Dwayne Johnson might just become a villain… again.

With Robert Downey Jr. portraying the role of Doctor Doom in the MCU, the stakes have never been higher. The Avengers have big threats to kill and one theory states that Dwayne Johnson might be the next big thing that the superheroes will have to face in the MCU.
Dwayne Johnson Is Allegedly The Apocalypse In The MCU!
Apocalypses can be beautiful when it’s a song. On the movie part, Oscar Isaac portrayed the role back in 2016 in X-Men: Apocalypse but it wasn’t that great of a decision. Well, it seems that the tides of Apocalypse are finally changing now.

It was pretty much inevitable that we’d get a movie like The Apocalypse Box at some point this year. With a contentious election and political rioting in both France and the UK, where the film is from, and a divisive vote just a few months away in the US, someone was going to make a politically themed horror film. And that someone is writer/director James Eaves.

It’s the day before the election and Piers Stonesmith is making a campaign appearance. Running on the slogan “Keep Britain British” his party is behind by eight points in the polls,...

From the creators of Sharknado comes Methgator, a new drug-fueled creature feature with its jaws set on Marvel’s foul-mouthed golden boys of summer, Deadpool & Wolverine. Courtesy of The Asylum, we’re pleased to share the exclusive first look at the brand-new Comic-Con poster for Methgator, which features the narcotic-driven reptile chowing down on Deadpool and Wolverine. I don’t know if they can quip their way out of this one.
In the vein of Elizabeth Banks’ Cocaine Bear, the official synopsis reads: “In a 2019 news bulletin, police warned residents to refrain from flushing methamphetamine down the toilet to prevent ‘meth-gators.’ Down in Sweet Water Point, Florida, they didn’t listen.” They never do. The film stars Robbie Rist (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Laronn Marzett (Birdie), Vanessa Tamayo (Monster Grizzly), and the one and only Patrick Labyorteaux, who played one of my favourite characters on Little House on the Prairie,...

Kevin Costner became a big name in the industry in the late 80s with films such as The Untouchables, No Way Out, Bull Durham, and Field of Dreams. He started to have more voice in the production of his films and what kind of films he wanted to make. After his incredible directorial debut with Dances With Wolves, he continued making hits such as JFK and The Bodyguard.

There is one masterpiece that continues to cast a long, illustrious shadow over the film industry: Francis Ford Coppola’s adaptation of Mario Puzo’s novel The Godfather.
Isn’t it remarkable how a film can so thoroughly capture the collective imagination, resonating with audiences decade after decade? Steeped in authenticity, the 1972 gangster masterpiece is heralded as one of the most acclaimed films of all time, etching its lines, scenes, and characters into the very fabric of cinematic history.

Take Coppola’s ensemble cast, which starred Diane Keaton, Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, and Robert Duvall. The latter played Tom Hagen, the unofficially adopted son of Vito Corleone, played by Brando. Well, his portrayal of Tom in Paramount Pictures’ series is iconic, and it’s no surprise that his favorite scene from the film revolves around the revelation that he is the adopted son.

Francis Ford Coppola has finally finished his magnum opus Megalopolis. The filmmaker’s self-funded sci-fi epic has reportedly been in the making since the ‘80s and the Apocalypse Now director finally got to revive it a few years ago. However, the film has a huge obstacle to pass through as prominent studios are reportedly not interested in giving a distribution deal.
Coppola’s epic has reportedly been avoided like the plague by major Hollywood studios, who allegedly do not see commercial potential in it. Though the film has names such as Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, and Audrey Plaza attached to it, there seem to be no takers. After a recent screening, fans have been reportedly campaigning for studios to give the film a wide release.

She's playing The young Dr. Jean Grey in the flick. According to the folks over at Indiewire.com, Sophie revealed in a recent Rolling Stone interview that she found her experience of working with director Bryan Singer on the "X-Men: Apocalypse" movie to be unpleasant. Sophie made her first appearance as the young Dr. Jean Grey in The Apocalypse movie. In her statement about Bryan Singer, Sophie didn't go into specifics as to what made him unpleasant to work with. Instead, she gave an analogy of sorts. She stated,"There’s a lot of Sansa in me. You go into something and you think it’s going to be a huge dream, and then you figure out, ‘Oh, wait.

To celebrate the release of Anna and the Apocalypse – out on DVD 8th April 2019 – we have a copy to giveaway! Described as ‘Shaun of the Dead meets La La Land’ this is a brilliantly bonkers, Bafta-nominated zom-com musical, from the creator of the internet smash Ryan Gosling Won’t Eat His Cereal.
When a zombie apocalypse threatens the sleepy town of Little Haven, Anna and her friends must fight, slash and sing their way to survival, facing hellish snowmen, an undead Santa and bloodthirsty elves in a desperate race to reach their loved ones hiding out at their local high school.
Ryan McHenry, the brains behind the internet Vine smash hit ‘Ryan Gosling won’t eat his cereal’, won a Bafta for his 2010 short Zombie Musical – but sadly, didn’t get to see it turned into a full-length feature film. After McHenry died in 2015, his friends, including co-writer Alan McDonald,...

WWE's Monster Among Men should be a major player, yet he always ends up slumming it during the biggest show of the year.
Roman Reigns main-evented WrestleMania four years in a row. While frustrating to watch, it’s still rather impressive considering he was someone the bulk of fans didn’t want in that spot and WWE acted very gun-shy about him on a regular basis. That, and the latter three matches are contenders for worst WrestleMania main event of all time.
But what if there was a wrestler on the roster with star written all over him? Someone who was bigger and more physically impressive than Roman with twice the charisma? Someone who was everything Vince McMahon looks for in a top name while also being beloved by the audience itself? You would think that the company would truly get behind such a wrestler and...

“Focus: Nordic Comedy is a tribute to the contemporary Nordic comedy and an attempt to try to understand humor’s social and political role in today’s culture,” says Göteborg fest artistic director Jonas Holmberg. Despite horror’s thematic binding to the world’s most prominent fears – this a year of parental devastation and horrors inside family units – my top genre films from 2018 still revel in variety: arachnid puppets, Nazi experiments, zombie musicals alike. Such morbid creativity would stick out like a sore severed thumb any other year, but in 2018? You could drown out aforementioned absurdity with Nicolas Cage’s descent into occult revenge madness alone.
As I said, it’s been a wild year for horror – and a damn fine one at that.
My ranking comes after killing many darlings, given my final tally of 118 seen horror movies this year. Dig deeper, past these listed twenty, and you’ll still find plenty of gems. The following treasures just shine a little brighter and demand more attention. Feature debuts, streaming darlings, mainstream nightmares, they’re all here. Following last weekend’s big roll out of The Favourite from Fox Searchlight, this weekend will likely see a pause for awards contenders making splashy Specialty box office numbers. Orion Pictures is giving a limited start to comedy-horror-musical Anna And the Apocalypse, starring Ella Hunt and Malcom Cumming. Timed to the holiday season, the title fits the company’s strategy of releasing films that target specific audiences. Screen Media, meanwhile, has two very different features heading out, though both will have one-time event screenings around the country (on different dates) in addition to specific targeted regular runs. James Marsh’s The Mercy starring Colin Firth and Rachel Weisz opens Village East in New York through the distributor, while animated feature Elliot: The Littlest Reindeer will have regular engagements starting in New York and L.A. Friday in a day and date release in addition to event screenings in over 100 cities.

The Apocalypse is nigh.
FX on Monday dropped the first official teaser American Horror Story Season 8 aka the crossover between American Horror Story: Murder House and American Horror Story: Coven, and it is as creepy as you would expect.
The teaser shows a baby in an hourglass, and it slowly reveals that it has claws ... among other things.
The purpose of the clip seemed to be to show that the world is on a timer as a result of the end of the world approaching.
Cody Fern will assume the role of Michael Langdon when the new season debuts September 12.
Jessica Lange is also slated to return to the series as her character from Murder House. Lange has not been part of the cast since American Horror Story: Freak Show so her return is a big deal.

Blu-ray Review
Godzilla
Directed by: Gareth Edwards
Cast: Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, David Strathairn
Running Time: 2 hrs 2 mins
Rating: PG-13
Due Out: September 16, 2014
Own “Godzilla” on Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, 2-Disc DVD Special Edition, and Digital HD on 9/16
Plot: Monsters invade the world. Humans try to save the day, but they may need the help of a giant lizard named Godzilla.
Who’S It For? Those who like a slow build up, big screen excitement, and can overlook some ordinary humans since there is an extraordinary reptile.
Movie:
Godzilla reminds us that we like to be teased. That is something most blockbusters have forgotten. I’m not saying one is always better than the other, but there is something pretty spectacular about sitting through Godzilla and wondering, worrying, and hoping that we’ll finally get the Godzilla action we paid for.

The Big G returns in Godzilla.
Godzilla, the Big G himself, returns to stomp on big cities and kick the ass of any other super-sized baddies that may be hanging around in the 2014 science fiction action thriller Godzilla.
In this latest film featuring the overgrown, nuclear halitosis-challenged lizard, Godzilla (who’s been doing what he does since his 1954 self-titled Japanese debut) rises from the depths to do battle with a pair of malevolent creatures that, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten the planet’s very existence. The larger-than-life battle takes him to the U.S. mainland this time around, specifically San Francisco.
Directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters) from a screenplay by Max Borenstein and a story by David Callaham, Godzilla features such human cast members as Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Savages), Ken Watanabe (Inception...

Earlier this year, Gareth Edwards’ Godzilla stomped into the box office, grappled with a pair of long-limbed MUTOs, and unleashed his atomic breath on his way to victory and a sequel that’s already in the works. One of my favorite films of the Summer came in the form of Gareth Edwards' Godzilla reboot. It was a return to form for the King of All Monsters and it's a movie I can't get enough of. Fortunately, Warner Bros. have now dropped the details on the film's upcoming blu-ray so that you can take it home and watch it over and over again. Come inside to check out when you'll be able to pick it up and what all is included on the blu-ray discs.
