The TV show was based on Evan Dorkin's comic series "Eltingville", but it never made it past the pilot, which premiered on Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim" on March 3rd, 2002.
This pilot episode was titled "Bring Me the Head of Boba Fett", which was the first full story arc of the comic series. This comic won the Eisner Award for Best Short Story in 1996.
Despite being produced by Cartoon Network Studios, it features the Williams Street logo at the end, and it was aired on Adult Swim in 2002.
