Due to his commitment to the show, John Corbett had to decline to reprise his role as Ian Miller in the My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002) spin-off, My Big Fat Greek Life (2003).
The show was cancelled because of poor ratings two weeks after receiving an Emmy nomination.
