Eurovision Song Contest Vienna 1967 (1967)

Trivia

Eurovision Song Contest Vienna 1967

Edit
Oldest Eurovision preserved in its original videotape. Older Eurovisions were either never recorded on tape or the tapes were erased or destroyed. Except the 1956 and the 1964 editions, which are now lost (the 1956 edition was never recorded and the 1964 tape was lost in a fire and no copies were done of it), all other editions from 1957 to 1966 were transferred to film from the original broadcast or from the videotapes before they were erased.
Although the Luxembourg entry "L'Amour Est Bleu" did not win, it went on to be an international orchestral hit under the name "Love Is Blue".
Final Eurovision produced in black and white. Not the last to be broadcast in black and white, though, as TV stations that didn't convert to the color system still kept broadcasting later Eurovisions in black and white, even if they were originally produced in color. Some participating TV stations kept broadcasting the show in black and white up to 1981.
