I thought the direction of the film was nicely done.  Even though the story line didn't seem to meaningful, it did give a good message and made you think about the what if.  It also gives a good lesson in trying not to involve your dog in a court hearing.  It won't get you anywhere!

The film chronicles a man through "a day in the life of" divorce court while he searches beyond the anger and pain to find the compassion that still resides in his heart.
