Mrs. Jobson makes the discovery that her husband is running around with other women. She calls at his office and makes him take her to lunch, interfering with the date he had with Elsie, his stenographer. He gives Arthur a roll of bills and tells him to take the girl to lunch and give him a chance to shake the Wife. Arthur loses the money. When the time comes to pay the check he finds his pocket empty. Hoping that Jobson will show up sooner or later with more money, Arthur invites a crowd of girls to the table and delays matters by ordering more. Presently Jobson joins the party and saves the day financially but meets his Waterloo when the wife suddenly turns up. The next day at the office, all three of the escapaders are intently bending over their desks to hide black eyes.
