xXx: State of the Union (2005)

Trivia

xXx: State of the Union

Edit
The car is painted with a special paint, called an "interference pigment", invented by Flex Products, which appears to change color when viewed from different angles.
When the N.S.A. is going over Darius Stone's profile, one of the pictures shown was a picture of Ice Cube from when he was with NWA (Niggaz Wit Attitudes) hip hop group in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Vin Diesel and director Rob Cohen signed on for this film two months before xXx (2002) opened. Both ended up leaving the project, the former stating that he hated the script.
With the exception of shooting scenes at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial, and the Ronald Reagan Building, most of the scenes taking place in Washington, D.C. were shot on soundstages including the main chamber of Congress, which was thirty feet high, and four hundred fifty feet long. It was so good that representatives of The West Wing (1999) expressed interest in buying it.
The converted truck chassis used for the "stealth tank", was later redressed and used for the alternate mode of the Decepticon Brawl/Devastator in Transformers (2007).
