Negativland sampled Estus W. Pirkle 's "Communism is good... Communism is good... Communism is good... Christianity is stupid... Christianity is stupid... Christianity is stupid... Give up... Give up... Give up..." sermon for their song "Christianity Is Stupid" on their album "Escape From Noise." It later led to a media prank which produced material for them to sample for their subsequent "Helter Stupid" album.
An LP record of the same title was released in 1971, basically a modified version of Minister Pirkle's sermon from the film. It is now considered quite rare and highly collectible.
