Excellent depiction of the early stage of economic reform in China

Although primarily geared for the rural area, the first stage of the economic reform in the 1980's China does also benefit urban area. This film paints an accurate picture of the urban struggle toward capitalism and the infancy of fashion industry that was banned in China for a long time.
