When the film was launched it was supposed to be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi at the same time. The Hindi version was titled "Jo Chahaa Ho Jaye". They decided to scrap the Hindi version. The film was later dubbed in Hindi and given another title.
The dubbed Hindi version "Friendship" did not have a theatrical release in British Columbia, Canada.
