One of the hit song.of this film, 'khubsoorat hasina' after about 30 years, this song was copied ' aye mere humsafar ' this song is from Bazigaar.
One of earliest film of music composers Laxmikant-Pyarelal and their earlier hit with one of Kishore Kumar hit song 'mere mehboob.....'
In the scene when Kishor Kumar drinks what he thinks is a poison, he says 'Khush raho ahede vatan, hum to safar karte hain'... These lines were taken in the song 'Raah pe chalte hain' credited to Gulzar in the 1982 movie Namkeen for which Pancham da gave music.
The director of this film, after about 30 years, he had completed the Sanjeev Kumar film, Professor Ki Padosan.
Title Music of Mr. X In Bombay. This title music was a faithful replica of Ron Goodwin's "Miss Marple's Theme" from the Miss Marple series of films of the 1960s. Laxmikant - Pyarelal used this tune again the next year in the song "Pyar Baantte Chalo" ("Hum Sab Ustad Hain", 1965).
