Ram Tera Desh (1984)

Trivia

Ram Tera Desh

Edit
Only movie where Hema and Shabana (in a special appearance as a lawyer) shared screen-space.
Swaroop Kumar who was assistant of Vijay Anand in Ram Balram, had directed this film and Chaman K.Bajoo who was the cinematographer of this film was assistant to Faili Mistry. Incidentally both films Ram Balram & Ram Tera Desh were produced by the same producer Tito.
This is one of the rare occasions that Ashok Kumar didn't lead the title credits. Hema Malini preceded before him.
The media kept reporting that Prem Kishen was done as actor. But he insisted he was the lead hero of Ram Tera Desh.
Rajesh Khanna signed the film but knew he had a small role as Hema Malini was in the central role. He kept insisting that the producers credit him with a special appearance. They declined his request. Finally Marc Zuber was signed for the role.
