Dharmendra and Hema Malini in Raja Jani (1972)

Trivia

Raja Jani

Edit
The plot is loosely inspired from the 1956 Hollywood film "Anastasia" which in turn is a loose adaptation of the legend of Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna of Russia.
This was the fourth highest-grossing film of the year 1972.
The movie was remade in Tamil as Adutha Varisu.
This film was an adaptation of the American film "Anastasia" (1955), starring Ingrid Bergman and Yul Brynner, which in turn was based on a real-life inspired play of the same title written by Marcelle Maurette in 1952. The Hindi film was later remade in Tamil as "Adutha Varisu" (1983) starring Rajinikanth and Sridevi
