After the sucess of Be-Rehem (1980) the same producer then started another movie Bad Aur Badnaam with strong cast, but Parveen Babi disapearence and Sanjeev Kumar demise, this film was released as it is.
Praveen Babi's voice is dubbed in the film.
Reena Roy was replaced by Anita Raj.
Final acting role of I.S. Johar. His voice was dubbed by a dubbing artiste due to his death.
The song "Naino Ko Baatien Karne Do " from Elaan sounded similar to Noor Jahan song " Mere Dil De Sheeshe Vich Sajna". The song " Mere Saason Ko Jo" from Badalte Rishtey, "Be muravat Be Kadar" from Bad Aur Badnaam and " Oh Ramji Bada Dukh Dina Tere Lahan Ne" from Ram Lakhan, Maha Matra by Jagjit Singh also all sound similar.They are all based on Indian classical raag.
