There was a shelved film S.S.Movietone's "Ghazab" (1978). Starring Dharmendra,Amitabh Bachchan,Jeetendra,Rishi Kapoor, Parveen Babi, Rekha, Neetu Singh,Music by Laxmikant Pyarelal, Produced Subhash Desai and by Directed by Manmohan Desai. The film was shelved due to being over budget.
The film was a remake of a Kamal Haasan movie. When N.N. Sippy was asked why Kamal was not signed for the Hindi version,he stated that when the remake was planned,Kamal Haasan could not speak any Hindi. It was later he picked up the language. While shooting for Phir Wahi Raat,Kamal use to come visit the sets and have lunch with the unit. At that time he could not speak Hindi.
