Sawan Kumar Tak was angry with the censor board. Pyar Ki Jeet was pirated from the office of the Central Board of Film Certification. When he approached them they found the cassette seal which was signed by his production manager and the regional officer was broken and the signatures were forged. The regional officer herself filed a complaint with the local police. Soon after Sawaan filed a damage suit against them. This probally angered them. Thats why they demanded ridiculous cuts from Sawan Kumar Taks next film Souten Ki Beti.
