In the search for a distributor, multiple copies of the film on VHS were sent to North American production companies. One of these copies made its way into the hands of Haim Saban of Saban Entertainment, who immediately saw the potential of the Tokusatsu genre. Saban asked Toei for footage that closest resembled the Age of Demons film. Toei sent the footage for Zyuranger due to the villains sharing the same choice of brassière. Saban then set about remaking Age of Demons into what would become Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Saban never paid the creators of Age of Demons a dime.
