- Claus Van Ripper: There's blood on the tombstone... he's come back for ye
- Claus Van Ripper: You can call the sheriff though it'll be hard for him to respond as he's lying beside his car with a stump where his head should be
- [Brody leads Scott and Amber to the graveyard for a good scare]
- Amber: What's the big deal with all this anyway?
- Brody: The big deal is that you, Karen, and everybody else around here take the legacy of this town for granted. You act like it's just another place on the map.
- Amber: You're drunk.
- [Brody comes over and grabs Amber, painfully, by the arm]
- Brody: [to Amber's face] But it's not just another place on the map. This is the birthplace of the most famous ghost story there ever was.
- Amber: You're hurting me!
- Brody: This should be the end-all, be-all of Halloween. And what have we got to show for it? A junior boy storyteller and a hokey haunted hayride.
- Amber: [to Scott] Scott, could you please get this gorilla off me?
- [Scott finally steps up]
