Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon in Fahrenheit 451 (2018)

Trivia

Fahrenheit 451

Edit
Author Ray Bradbury never did any fact-checking in regards to the title. He asked a fire chief at what temperature book paper burned, and was given the answer "451 degrees Fahrenheit." He liked the title so much that he didn't bother to see if it was the correct temperature.Although there is no standard tests for determining ignition temperatures, 451F has been measured to be paper's ignition temperature.
The book that Montag takes from the old woman's house is 'Notes from Underground', which coincidentally is also about a man struggling with his own existence.
The piano music played on the record is Gnossiennes No. 1 by Erik Satie.
Mel Gibson was planning to direct this remake, with Tom Cruise in the lead role, but schedules did not allow it.
At about 35 minutes in, one of the burning books has "Ray Bradbury" credited as the author. Ray Bradbury wrote the novel "Fahrenheit 451", the book that the movie is based on.
