Mithun signed the film Do Jasoos as a extra. His role was to have his back to the camera with a girl by the shoreline. The day of the shooting, it rained very hard and the shoot was canceled. The next day , same story. Finally the director decided to throw Mithun out thinking he was bad luck.
Rajendra Kumar... religiously followed his brother Naresh Kumar. The director and did all sorts of movie. After this movie bombed at the box office...he silently REFUSED the next movie of his brother ( first time ever he refused) .. and the part two of this movie called Gopichand jasoos was made few years later with only Raj Kapoor
When Bhavna was schooling, she had applied for the acting course at Pune Institute but being under-age, she was told to join later. They had kept her screen test which was later seen by Mr. Naresh Kumar (Brother of superstar actor Rajendra Kumar). He then approached Bhavna for his film Do Jasoos (1975). She was in college at that time and to pursue a career in films, she left college.
