Numbri Aadmi

Edit
Kimi Katkar had refused to dub for the film due to non payment.
The producer was having major financial problems and was not able to pay Mithun Chakraborthy.
The producer Dimpy and Aditya Pancholi had major problems with each other. In the beginning of 1988, Aditya Pancholi approached Dimpy and begged him for a role in the film . Dimpy signed Pancholi for the film's second lead role. When the film was ready to roll in the end of 1988, Pancholi started playing games with his dates. Aditya was now in high demand with big banners. When Dimpy would ask Pancholi for dates, he would tell him to ask his secretary. When Dimpy would ask his secretary Ajit Diwan, he would say Aditya was fully booked and could not shoot. Then Dimpy complained to the film committee board about the situation. Aditya sent his goons to threaten Dimpy to back off and keep out of Aditya's way or else they would kill him. Finally Kunal Goswami was signed to replace Aditya.
Teri Gathri Mein Laaga Chor The opening line of this song was taken from a song in the Hindi film "Dhoop Chhaon" (1935).
