The film was originally titled Pattebaaz.
The film was in the news due to the producer Amarlal Chhabria being very drunk at the record release party. He was seen hitting on all the women including Rajan Sippy's girlfriend Madhu Kapoor. Madhu finally slapped Amarlal after being told to stay away.
Khushboo stated that she was very uncomfortable with the romantic scene's with Rajan Sippy. Sippy would go overboard and make her feel like quitting the film.
