The film remains completed and unreleased due to legal problems of the producers. The two wives of Sohanlal Kanwar were having legal battles amongst each other for the financial rights of the film. One of the wives is former actress Snehlata.

The entire film was completed in short time and the release day was also fixed. But some weeks before release the filmmaker passed away. So Paisa Yeh Paisa is his last release.
