Jed (Rhys Ifans) can be seen in the background of many scenes, most notably the art gallery, where he exits to the right promptly.
The film is dedicated to Mary Selway, the casting Director, who died of cancer on April 21st 2004, 7 months before the film's release. She had previously worked with big name directors such as Steven Spielberg, Clint Eastwood, Roman Polanski among others and was known as "The grand dame of British casting agents."
Ben Whishaw and Daniel Craig also appeared together in The Trench (1999), Layer Cake (2004), Skyfall (2012) (also with Helen McCrory), Spectre (2015) and No Time to Die (2021).
