[after Tezla divulges that the winner of the World Race will receive $5 million]
Vert: Way cool! What would you do if you had that kind of money?
Taro: I do, and I've done it.

[while Lani is fixing her car up, she sees Vert walking with Alec]
Lani Tam: [referring to Alec] I take it this is one of our new recruits?
Vert: Lani Tam, meet Alec Wood.
Alec Wood: Wheels or waves! I'm the best!
Lani Tam: The humble type, huh? I know this is basic math, Vert, but we're still one driver short.
Vert: Hey, I just turned 16, okay? Half the people can't even drive here.

Dan Dresden: You should've stayed with Street Breed, Kurt! You could've had 5 million dollars!
Kurt: Talk is cheap, Dresden!

Kadeem: [sighs] I thought I'd found the wheel. But I was wrong. It was only that I wanted so much to find it; to win the race.
Haziz: That is the greatest danger. To see only what you want to see and not what is true.
Kadeem: I want to win, yes. But not just for myself, to get the money our people need...
Haziz: Our people need not what is yours but you! They need you to lead them.
Kadeem: Is that why you're here? To tell me that?
Haziz: You're telling it to yourself...
[Kadeem wakes from his vision]

Vert: [to Kurt, after seeing him crash whilst trying to pull a stunt] Nice shot, Sling Shot!

Kurt: [referring to his brother, Markie] He's a punk. Like some others around here.

Kadeem: [Both Taro and Kadeem have come first in the 2nd leg of the World Race] What was that you said, Taro? Was it "I'm going to pass you" or "I'm going to tie you"?
Taro: Next time.
[Drives off not long before Alec Wood emerges from the portal]

Banjee: Hey, Taro. You think this guy Tezla knows what he's talking about, or is he just loco?
Taro: It took a genius to build these cars, Banjee.
[revs the engine of his 1970 Plymouth Road Runner]
Kurt: He could be a genius, and still be insane.

Taro: No more skateboard tricks now, kid! Just driving!
[Taro then comes up alongside Vert, attempting to pass him]
Vert: [grunts] Who are you calling "kid"?
[the two then get into a tackle before eventually losing control and coming off the track. After which, more cars pass by, and they both drive off]

[During the first leg of the World Race, Kurt Wylde pushes his way past the other drivers, rams Vert on the side, forcing him and Kadeem off the track. Even so, the cars are not damaged]
Vert: A wipe out like that, and I hardly got dinged. Man, these cars can really take punishment.

Mark Wylde: [to Kurt, whilst racing him] I'm not just your little brother now! I'm as good a driver as you are!

[during the second leg of the World Race, Kurt is pulling every move he can to stop Banjee from passing him]
Banjee: Give me some room, Kurt! You're not winning this race!
Kurt: With my eyes closed, Banjee!
[then, just as Banjee comes up alongside him, Kurt rams Banjee on the side and regains his position]
Banjee: With your mouth closed would be better!
Kurt: Actions speak louder than words!

[Kurt Wylde has just won the first leg of the World Race]
Kurt: What happened? Did I win?
[just then, Kadeem comes out of the portal, and as he drives past, splashes mud all over Kurt]
Dr. Peter Tezla: Welcome back. This is not the end of the World Race. It's only the beginning.

[after passing their team leader Kadeem, Rekkas and Chuvo drive into a statue of a dinosaur, likely to have been built by the Accelerons]
Rekkas: Headlights, Chuvo. Let's tame this beast!
Chuvo: Hang on to your helmet, Rekkas! It may be tame, but it's still got some teeth!
[Rekkas and Chuvo then jump out from the mouth of the statue, but don't have enough momentum to make it on to the track, and instead land on the edge of a cliff]
Rekkas: [while struggling to drive off the cliff edge] Too short!
[eventually falls off the cliff while Chuvo continues to struggle]
Rekkas: Whoa!
[activates his parachute and lands on his roof]
Rekkas: Did you make it, Chuvo?
[sees Chuvo land on his side]
Rekkas: Guess not.

Vert: Hey, you're uh, you're Taro Kitano right? Somebody told me you ski'ed down Mt. Everest once?
Taro: Twice. I'm gonna pass you.
Vert: That's what you think.
[moments before screwing up]
