Radio Free Roscoe (2003)

Trivia

Radio Free Roscoe

Edit
Although canceled on the N network in America, the show has become enough of a success in Canada for the Family network to continue production until they pulled out as well in early summer 2005.
The pilot for the series not only featured an entirely different cast, but was also filmed in New Jersey instead of Toronto.
As the series was originally filmed with a completely different cast and in a completely different location, the first two episodes, showing the group form Radio Free Roscoe, and their first times on air, were filmed quickly and on lower budgets, including lesser quality sound and cameras. This was done mostly as a test run to see if the cast worked well or if yet another change had to be made quickly, and were done quickly and with less money under the knowledge that they wouldn't air at least for a while, and any network showing the series would skip to airing the "real" episodes and abandon these ones for the moment. The only reason these two episodes were completed were with the hope that they would air sometime in the future, or be included as extras on a DVD. They did make their television debut the next year, and are included in the Season 1 Greatest Hits DVD.
Ali Mukaddam's real life brother guest starred on Radio Free Roscoe playing his older brother.
