When the film was getting delayed,Sanjeev Kumar blamed Hema saying she was delaying the film. Hema stated this was not true as the producer was having financial problems.
Kishore Jariwala claimed Sanjeev Kumar was jealous that he signed the film. Sanjeev thought the family should only have 1 actor in it. Sanjeev got angry at the producer for signing Kishore. He told the producer to sign Kishore Jariwala for music, not for acting . Sanjeev denied these allegations and stated was all he wanted was for his brothers to learn to stand on their two feet. To stop depending on him for money and support .
Sudha Shivpuri real life wife of Om Shivpuri plays his dead wife in the film.She can be seen only in photograph.
There was a shelved film, Mehta Productions. "Dhoop Chhaon" (1965). Starring Ashok Kumar, Jeetendra, Mala Sinha. Directed by Phani Majumdar.
