Diedre Kilgore and David Tully in The Falls (2003)

Trivia

The Falls

Edit
Writer-producer-director Paul DeNigris began writing the movie in 1995, while living on West Ferry Street in Buffalo.
Every single shot was post-processed in Adobe After Effects for intense color manipulation, visual effects, and compositing.
The movie contains over 225 visual effects shots, including digital makeup, set extensions, sky replacement, and digital gunshot effects.
The "Cave of the Winds" which features so prominently in the film's climax does not actually exist. The real Cave suffered a partial collapse in the 1920s and was demolished totally in 1955. In the film however, Ethan Barnes' foundation is footing the bill for a massive restoration of the Cave and a number of characters meet there for the climactic showdown. The cave used for the film was a practical location called The Lockport Caves (located about 40 miles from Niagara Falls), and the filmmakers added their own water effects both on-camera and in postproduction through digital visual effects. There are about 100 visual effects shots in the Cave of the Winds sequence alone.

Director Cameo

Paul DeNigris: forensics officer who talks to Detective Crane in Barnes mansion at the end of the film
