Several shots with flickering computer screens were digitally altered to remove the flicker. 2 shots of a wall clock were also digitally altered to show the correct time.
During the scene where Harry is putting his books away while on the phone with Alec, in actuality actor Larry Jay Tish was standing on a step stool because the bookshelves used for the scene were too high.
Two versions of the fictional "Hampton Eagle" newspaper were actually printed and feature "fake" news stories written by several crew members. All of the content is available for reading as and extra feature on the DVD.
